About Us
Welcome to New Orleans! We’re Jamie and Jeff, and we’re thrilled to host you in our 100+ year-old shotgun house, nestled in the heart of Mid City. Situated on a tranquil, dead-end street, our home offers an authentic New Orleans experience, steeped in the city’s rich history and charm.
Jamie’s family has deep roots in New Orleans, and she holds a profound love for its history and vibrant social scene.
With a background in event planning since 2008, Jamie has worked at the National WWII Museum (where she and Jeff met!), managed hospitality tents at Jazz Fest, and contributed to the Team Gleason Foundation. Currently, she is the special events manager for United Way of Southeast Louisiana. Her passion for the city extends to local krewes, having been a founding member of the women’s marching group, Streetcar Strutters, and now a part of the Krewe of Dolly.
Jeff has devoted much of his career to New Orleans’ celebrated culinary scene.
He was part of the opening team at Emeril’s Delmonico and later served as General Manager at the acclaimed Restaurant August. He went on to establish his own renowned restaurants, MoPho and Maypop, introducing thrilling new flavors to the city. After stepping back from restaurant ownership, he joined Liberty’s Kitchen, a nonprofit dedicated to youth empowerment and culinary training. Most recently, Jeff was the General Manager at Dickie Brennan’s Bourbon House.
Both of us are passionate about giving back to our community and regularly volunteer with local nonprofits. Whether you’re here to delve into New Orleans’ rich history, savor its culinary delights, or simply unwind, we’re committed to making your stay unforgettable. We eagerly await the opportunity to host you and share the city we love!
