Courtesy of Patio Planters\, the events major sponsor\, both candles and song sheets are provided! Patio Planters is a nonprofit group dedicated to the horticultural beautification of the French Quarter. They also help fund the event through monies raised by its Vieux Carre holiday home tours earlier on the same day. \nWhen is Caroling in Jackson Square? \nThe Caroling in Jackson Square will be held on December 22nd\, 2024. \nWhere can I find tickets to Caroling in Jackson Square? \nThe event is free and open to all who wish to participate. Those who plan to attend and participate are strongly advised to arrive early. This is a very popular event that sometimes exceeds the capacity of the square. Gates open at 6:30 PM.

The parade will feature 30 custom designed\, holiday themed floats\, high-flying helium balloons\, and more than a dozen dancing groups and marching bands to kick off the holiday season in New Orleans. \nThe Children’s Hospital Holiday Parade will begin at the French Market and roll through the French Quarter before turning on Canal St. The parade continues down Canal St. to Baronne St. before turning around to head back towards Tchoupitoulas. The parade will end on Tchoupitoulas and St. Joseph.
