DESCRIPTION:The Oak Street Po-Boy Festival highlights not only the importance of the po-boy itself\, but also the rebirth of a once-thriving shopping district with roots as deep as the neighborhood itself. Carrollton was a separate city until it was annexed by New Orleans in 1874\, and Oak Street was its commercial hub. At Oak Street Po-Boy Fest\, try dozens of varieties of po-boys in the Uptown Carrollton neighborhood. It’s a block party with multiple stages of live music\, an arts market\, and lots of other food for the taking. The food lineup is usually released in the days before the festival\, but expect everything from oysters Rockefeller po-boys to smoked beef cheek po-boys to deep fried buffalo shrimp banh mi and vegan oyster mushroom po-boys.

DESCRIPTION:The 10th Annual Tremé Fall Festival celebrates the rich culture and history of New Orleans’ historic Tremé neighborhood. This cultural celebration features local musicians\, food vendors\, art displays\, and community activities\, all while raising funds to support St. Augustine Catholic Church and local cultural organizations.  \nThe festival takes place Saturday\, October 25\, 2025\, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A special Patron Party kicks off the festivities on Friday\, October 17\, 2025\, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the George & Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center.  \nThe festival is free and open to the public and does not require ticket purchase. However\, donations are welcomed and appreciated to support the Tremé community. VIP packages are available at tremefest.org\, which include reserved seating\, food\, and a Liberty Bank swag bag. Patron Party tickets are available for $150 plus fees.

They also help fund the event through monies raised by its Vieux Carre holiday home tours earlier on the same day. \nWhen is Caroling in Jackson Square? \nThe Caroling in Jackson Square will be held on December 22nd\, 2024. \nWhere can I find tickets to Caroling in Jackson Square? \nThe event is free and open to all who wish to participate. Those who plan to attend and participate are strongly advised to arrive early. This is a very popular event that sometimes exceeds the capacity of the square. Gates open at 6:30 PM.

The parade will end on Tchoupitoulas and St. Joseph.
